Italy is democratic republic based on work, and… well, I think everybody knows these things so we’d better talk about our region: Sardinia, the second larger island on Mediterranean sea. It has nearly 1’500’000 habitants, and it’s also known that there are more sheeps than people! The place is very famous for its beautiful beaches and its really ancient traditions and culture. For our national presentation we cooked some pasta (“all’arrabbiata” and “alla carbonara) and prepared bruschette (toasted bread with garlic, oil, tomatoes and salt) and salads: we brought our typical bread (pane carasau and pane guttiau), torrone (a ‘dessert’ made on honey and almonds) and our famous liquors Limoncello and Mirto.
